Hi there! My name is Farid Widjaya and I'm an event photographer from Lancaster, Pennsylvania who specializes in capturing real moments, unfiltered emotions, and amazing details. Thanks for visiting my site!
Photography is my passion. Whether it's the bride, groom, parents, chidren, or whoever, my goal as a photographer is to capture the happy moments unfolding through the lens before my eyes. I promise I will try my very best to preserve your most special memories and present them in a tasteful and unique style. All packages will include a Farid's VIP treatment of the images (see 'VIP' page for more information.) On top of that, you will own the rights to ALL your images. Photo printing and storybook albums also available upon inquiry.

When you hire me as your photographer, you are not just investing in some guy to snap a bunch of pictures, and then run them through an automated process to give you an illusion that he was being creative. No, what you are investing in is my total creative direction on how your images would look in the end. This approach encompasses a whole range of photographic aspects, from the sense to capture at the exact moments, the composition of the images, and the VIP treatment to EACH of your images afterwards. So what's this 'VIP' treatment I'm talking about? Let's look at one example to better illustrate what I'm talking about.

This is a straight-out-of-camera image of my wife Winny, taken from the beautiful Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, Nevada. The image itself is not bad, but with my VIP treatment...
See what I mean? A bad image won't be saved by any amount of photoshopping, but a good image can be greatly enhanced by it. After some levels, curves, and colors adjustment, this image is looking much, much better. Now, I'm not going to do the exact same thing to all of the images. In each image I process I'm asking myself, "How do I make this image look its very best?"
As you can probably imagine, this approach takes a significantly longer time than the regular approach. But you know what? It's worth it. It's worth knowing that I've done my best trying to present your memories in what I feel is the best way.
